dear bbFionna, i pray each night that you’ll always be by my side …

been a very busy week and every evening when i shut down my computer and head out for home, you are on my mind … how good it would be to be with you … how good to hear your voice … how wonderful to see your smile … how excellent to hold you …

TQ dear for your patience yar … i’m very grateful that you are willing to wait for me … i will treasure your love and love you wholeheartedly. No matter how many times you ask me “BB, you love me right?” … I will always answer “Yes, bb! I love you!”

I look forward to our journey together till 2068 …

We were holding our hands as we both walked down the beach - our routine morning walk. I loved the sun, shinning right on our face as we feel the warmth of the sun. I look at you and smile. The same hand which held my hand when we travelled in Cambodia in 2006, though with a white crown and wrinkles over your face ,  you are still looking at me with those loving eyes. I have the last 60 years to thank you for being there for me at all times.  Though we can’t walk as fast like in those younger days , forgetting not everyone has long legs, we still love holding each other hands to walk by the beach. I am still reminding you of your slouch back. How can i make you remember dear?

Our children are all happily married with their respective lives. We choose to live by ourselves, the 2 of us near this beach house where we run an small lodge house. I teach the children how to paint , on the last Friday of every month. You still do free lance consulting on digital marketing , only meaning ful projects. We love to invite the neighbour occasionally to join us for a Sinagpore meal; with you being the chef.  Sometimes, we get adventurous ,i tryto invent  new dishes and you will sit on the opposite  of the open kitchen table to read me the steps , drink a mouth of the red wine and  place the glass between my lips.  .

It’s a simple home, white in color , and modern. I like to read outside the house, hear the waves while you surf the internet; telling me how times have changed . Some things in your life stays the same : the latest Mac computer and the latest i-phone.

I know life is going to begin elsewhere for us soon. I am not afraid because i know you will be there with me.; just like the last 60 years.

Wedding Bells

Must be the result of  flipping through the many wedding photos of friends who have tie the knot for the past 2.5 years while i am working in Shanghai.I had a dream about us, our wedding . The only scene i can remember was we were stepping into the car outside your house. It was a sunny day. I don’t know where we are heading next.

I know in our relationship where will head next- Shanghai where we both begin our lives – living together as planned – when you arrive here to work after June.

I love you.  I want you to know that. I will always be there to support you baby. Let’s pray together for God will finish what he started - to bring you here to me in Shanghai and begin the next phase of your career. At Tribal DDB Shanghai ..we pray

Pinkie

Pinkie , the cat was so tagged to me. She loved me so much that she always want to sleep and be beside me. She was white in color with orange stripes. I tried to put Pinkie outside my bedroom and quicky closed my door. Naughty Pinkie went into Amie’s room and distured her. Amie was very annoyed and shouted: “Can someone bring Pinkie away!”

I reluctantly opened my bedroom door and decided to place Pinkie outside the house. Smart Pinkie slipped into Choon Seng’s bag while he was opening the door to get in. CS went into my room and Pinkie sprang out onto me.

Errrr..bring Pinkie away..i hate cats, esp those that sprang onto me..reminds me of the terrible experience in seconday school, where the cat kept trying to nug into me through my PE Tee collar…eeeks..then i woke up…bb…Pinkie?

Patient BB

Bb;

 I am sorry for being so impatient with you @ work and when we talk sometimes. My task orientation gets me very worked up at times when i don’t achieve what i set to do.I get agitatedwhen you give me negative comments and never counter with new suggestions. I know you have been very patient with me and i am just bad at managing my own emotions and temperament. I will work on it.I want to write because i want you to know there is never a moment i feel good after losing my cool. And i realised you never at once lose your temperament when i lose mine or stop me when i do so. Bb, if you are upset with my behaviour, i appreciate you tell me. I don’t want you to be upset in silence. I will think it’s ok and not realised my mistake. You have to manage me bb ! I love u and you might say you are ok , i want you to know i don’t want to take your patience with me for granted. I want to treasure you as my bb darling. You know if you upset me, i will speak it out, coz i want you to know my feelings. This is the same for you ok..darling. While i can’t say everyday together will be happy, but i want  our days together till  we are 87 to be filled happiness everyday. I love you bb.

Enjoying People In Your Life

What does it take to enjoy people in your life :

1. Be grateful for the good in people.

In the past , you have been hurt by someone @ work, a parent or a friend  and is still holding on to the hurt. As a result , you can’t enjoy them today! Who do you need to start and be grateful for the good in  them from today?

Remember the BEST, forget the REST.

2. Practice Positive Praying.

Do you pray for those around you everyday?Do you pray that they will be filled with love and make wise decision, do the right thing and live in the glory of God?

3. Be Patient With Their Progress

Human are great starters but bad finishers. God Finishes what He Starts. The Bible says Jesus Christ starts working in your life. He will complete what he started.

God is not finished with people.

We need to be patient with people’s progress. To enjoy people, we must allow for growth and development.

Who are the 2 persons do you need to be patient with today?

4. Love People from the Heart

Heart love begins with understanding; knowing why someone feels or  behaves in the way they do. You cannot love someone you don’t understand. The secret to enjoying people in your life is to be filled with God’s love.

Who do you need to start loving from the heart and not the head?

BB, how are you today?

Sorry I not there when things happen … I was so worried when your glass shattered and your door broke. I knew you were worried too, but you were tired and trying to think of a solution – Landlord, management comm, etc – so I did not want to make matters bigger than necessary.

I promise I will take care of you, dear. If there any issues in future, I will handle them.

Meanwhile, I pray and thank God that you are safe!

I hope that things are fixed or about to be fixed by now …
