To live or Not to live…

Humn..I guess i am pampered..i went to see a few houses but still dun like them..find them too badly furnished or that their level was too high up…the exterior too shabby looking…for my budget it was almost impossible to get the “style” of house i want..given that i am staying alone…i walked thrug the familiar streets of jingan…but to no avail..so i got a little upset today…took line 4 back..and then uncle came back..we started to analyse possibilities…there was a lady he knew..stayed at the opp block..looking for a tenant..so i asked him…to help me ask…maybe to get 1000rmb a month to share with her…she has a golden retriever..yah..i can have a dog yet not take care of it…but sadness ends real quick for me…because i started feastig on my Fererro rocher…then off for massage at aunti mabel’s place….then went to have my little lobster, mi xin and roast duck supper..tok to uncle about my life…wanted to ask u about the book but you fell asleep..good nitez..sweet dreams…

菲安娜 PVG-Sin 11 July 06

There was this period in our lives; we were so young and restless,
Me on the other hand, never change, the habit which most around me know…careless

Lost my boarding card and ask for another from the staff who kindly assists me with a smile, 15F was my seat

But I wasn’t thinking like I always do before a flight – deciding on what to eat,

Just excited about the lime tree productions,

The bonus, Pink Party for 3rd SHEN!

I laughed when I see us on the Shanghai mass rapid train…
What happen to all these people from NUS with top brains?
What other people say or how they look at us doesn’t matter anymore,
Because we are living in what we believe for.
A day we will remember till the day we get old.

On the flight from Singapore to Shanghai
This time round it is different, no more the 11 young and fun loving people with me,
I am alone to do work in China and to see…What the exciting China have for me…

But I was never alone from the beginning…
I have your support right from the starting…
I thank you for starting my journey on an eventful note…
As a friend, you will be the most thoughtful person I would vote
In terms of coming up with this in flight entertainment, the Cambodia album and the elm 3 website.

There was no choice for my in-flight dinner bite…
I have no choice but have dull looking vege and pork fried…
I miss the many food we had back in Singapore….
But I decided I would not grumble and ask for more…
Because the wonderful memories I share with u will always stay…
Always in my mind…never lost and placed away from my heart bay…

手里拿着杯子等着服务员的白酒和咖啡
看着
Broke back Mountain 所发生的情节和事非
起飞前那紧张的和恐惧,
顿时都消失因为看到了许多
Walt Disney 的卡通剧
咖啡等了很久没来可是有了白酒
期待你的到来将不会那么永久
我尽能力在电池没电前完成我的写作
希望能在抵达上海的第一时刻下载到
elm3.org.

Golf Proficiency Certificate (PC)

(Finally!) Took the PC at the Asian Golf Academy @ Bishan. All passed! (Like, who could fail!)

QHouse’s Tuna, egg, ham, pork floss, lettuce roll – resembles a huge sushi (with brown wrap). Taste uniquely good!

S11 Pork Chop at Ang Mo Kio Central, recommended by minquan’s sister was so-so. Looks like Clementi’s still beat it!

Mum’s Home Cooked Shark’s Fin – That’s for you! (“,)

雷茶

Thanks to you I also got to eat minquan’s home-cooked 雷茶. mmm!!! … and also all the DL-ed movies. Yea!
Hearing you describe the Ba Kut Teh 肉骨茶 you ate in JB, also make me salivate. Shall patronize one day.

Ok, my Samsonite Oyster is filled. Heh heh! Don’t worry, you didn’t bring too many things! (“,)

Fried Chicken wings and BBQ Chicken wings at your place are good! Tried liao! (** Finger lickin’ good! **)

Thank God for sale

and for not letting you make the purchase at G2000 yesterday.

Good thing you decided to make your purchase today of the pants and the suit, which saved you quite a bit.

Eye brow plucking and pedicure … well … it’s a girl thing … I not about to go pull my eye brows (ouch!) and painting my toe nails.

The Project Shop … and their Laksa Pesto (which really tasted like Laksa) and Turkey Cranberry Sandwich. Decent enough food!

Chinatown … Raffles Place … Whatever … It’s on Gillmun Street and turn in from Club Street. You got your ticket! This is almost it!

Off to Shanghai with eager anticipation and a heart full of ambition. The world is your stage and now you are the Star of the Act.

I surely will miss the chit chat / chill sessions over coffee with you.

You didn't faint before making it down.

Went over to your place for food galore … Fish (smooth, slithery, delicious chilli) soup, Chicken Porridge (with good white chicken) and dessert (大麦 Wheat).

Eat until FULL, FULL! Burp!!!

Congrats on finding your accomodation! It looks like a nice cosy apartment.

My Home Alone 4 ‘filming’ has finally ended. (Looks like it’s your turn to continue ‘filming’ the sequel in Shanghai.)

The EXPERIENCE

Everything is about an experience. Good or bad, people remember the experience. In customer service, creating the right experience for the customer makes is pivotal in retaining customers, increasing sales and customer satisfaction.

Hosai Japanese Restaurant was a mediocre experience. For the pricing, the expected standard was much higher. It missed the mark.

Diaso was a simple experience. Whatever we wanted we mostly could find. Things are cheap and we have no great expectation for long usage life.

Apple Store was a long waiting experience. With so many staff, customers would have thought that they would be more efficient. You didn’t like the “sleek” feel. Branding was lacking? They failed to create a good experience for you.

Hollywood Secrets was a fast experience. Your eye brow plucker was on leave. Make appt and leave. (I think the place was overwhelmingly filled with the smell of alcohol.)

The Balcony was a lazy experience. Nice ambience. Laid back chit chat session.

Bus waiting was a loooong experience. Buses should appear when you want them to. (Right?)

Pig Organ Soup Dinner @ Farrer Court Market was a back to basics experience. Simple, yet satisfying meal.

Having Lost & Found (this time round my turn) is a surprising twist of events experience. (“,) Oops!

… and so, each thing we do, each moment we live … is an EXPERIENCE. (Enjoy it!)

Shopping

I realized that there was no Shopping under categories. (I just created it.)

It was a shopping day! After lunch at Adam’s Rd with ur cousin and ur brother, we hit People’s Park and then Orchard Rd.

This is the 1st time I heard that someone took Emergency Leave to come Singapore to eat and shop. Absolutely hilarious! Hahaha!

Shark Meat in Lor Mee @ Tiong Bahru … Not bad Lor mee (though u dun really like, ah!) but the shark taste like any other fish to me.

Tiring day – cosh of all the walking. Enjoyable day – cosh of good and interesting company.

Oops! This time really got “Lost & Found” in the car. (“,)

Mee Swa and Beers

Grandparents might not agree with the combinations … heh!

Took a little while and a few false turns (thanks for being so patient) but fortunately I got us there to try the ‘much talked about’ Fried Mee Swa.

Beds at Mohammad Sultan … such a ‘happening’ place that it turned us off immediately, heh! bed would have been a better choice, yar?

As you said, “Yet another first time for Edwin.”

The 11 different beers were really very interesting. I’m for light beers! Much smoother to drink.

Sampoerna … it’s sweet! I think they coat it with sugar or honey … heh … but still don’t think it will make me wanna smoke.

Fong Seng aka NUS, so fast missing the place already ah … (kidding!)

and finally, I say it again, Thank you for the good time, good intro and good company.
