Hope the “long wei” grass, the “sea coconut” cough syrup and all the water works hard and get rid of the cough, the sore throat and the fever from your body.

Maybe I can take your virus and let the anti biotics I am taking destroy it for you. =)

Dear Edwin,

Thanks for updating the blog, the long awaited annual dinner @ Angus, the lovely roses…and for being here with me and having me with you everywhere. It was so sweet to see what you have written during the Xmas trip to Shanghai. Something i did not expect from you, maybe you have known me so well that it is harder for me to predict you. Less predictable, but i will leave it as it is, so life will be filled with little pleasant surprises.

It’s the first day of Chinese New Year and i did not plan for my New Year to be spent @ home, with my mum having to be so busy to take care of me, checking that my temperature is ok, reminding me not to sleep so much and reminding me to take my medication. I realised i am back to the little girl in her heart, who absolutely doesn’t take care of herself, the chili crab, the nights out…i am so in need to be taken care of after being so independent in Shanghai.

This trip back has been wonderful, spending time with my family, you and friends. Sets me thinking how long i will be away.I realised my parents have aged a lot during my trip back this time, but my passion to my work is bringing me away from them and you.But i am sure all will turn out well.

Sorry to make you work on the first day of New Year, which i hope you have a good time @ your granny’s place, the karaokay , the food. Have a good day !

Welcome back to sunny Singapore. Am so glad that you have arrived safe and sound. After the 5 hours delay in flight, I’m sure it was tiring, even though, you were so fortunate to be upgraded to Business Class. (I’m sure such fortune will follow you through the days.)

It’s 2301 H.

I want to sleep so I can wake up to go to airport.

Then, I think that you not even plane yet! Aiyah … Not anxious … not anxious …

Wait for my baby to come home … (“,)

Technology was suppose to simplify things. Yet, technology had also vastly complicated our life. The blog, which was supposed to be instant communication ended up being the slowest form of communication with you.

The humble post card on the other hand, has withstood the stand of time to become one of the most effective means of communication. Always delivered, never failed, abeit slow it maybe.

Even skype, our lovely communication tool, has failed countless times due to technology fault. What more can I say.

Postcard … sent with love … it shall be.

There was a boy, bbe, who fell for a girl, bbf. It had nothing to do with the heat of the summer. It was a simple case of girl meets boy, boy falls in love.

The Boy, a.k.a bbe

Bbe had been kept away from his dear Bbf for too long due to work. Although many miles apart, Bbf was always on Bbe’s heart. In the chill of winter, Bbe devised a great ploy of seeking good food and cross the great ocean to where Bbf resided, the land of the rising Sea (Shanghai).

The plan called for explorations of the most delicious food in town, including but not limited to

酒香草头

Hairy Crab 大闸蟹

Papa John’s Sampler – Chicken Wings

Super Papa John’s Pizza

but in actual fact it was to be with dearest, dear Bbf …

The girl, a.k.a Bbf

Bbf is not a simple girl. She is not just a very good sweeper.

Neither is she just an ornament for display.

Of course, Bbf is more than a pet …

and, not just about food.

Bbf is the essence that gives Bbe strength …

The sweetness in Bbe’s life …

The pillar that holds it up …

Bbf is the star at the end of it all …

She is my Bbf and I her Bbe.
