Sex & The Shanghai City Season 1

Today i must say its really like sex and  the shanghai city day for me , bitching about people, men, dating, sex , shopping, worklife, aspirations and love for Singaporean gals in Shanghai. We chat on everything under the stars…except we still need to find our 4th partner to make it a complete Sex & Shanghai City . I think 3 of us is good enough. Baby , you will be bored down by our shallow conversation but it is just so entertaining at times. While we oogle at the 3 Philippinos female singers in tight short yellow mini skirts from Coldstones, we had many passerbys (mainly 40s -50s local Chinese technicians,  husbands with wives ). who will stop just outside HB Bar  ..the thin fine line between sexy and slutty dance, we were commenting non stop about their dance,  jealousy ? . From the cute floor manager of HB Bar ( similar to Paulana’s XTD) to good Cantonese food and impressive service by this Aaron Kwok sound alike waiter @ Party World ,the new Shanghai Bay ( just next to Ms Tan’s house) has quite a lot to offer indeed. She is saying without me, she will never explore the place. The blueberry ice cream was really good @ Coldstones. We wanted karaokay too but we have to wait so long so decided to give it a miss and schedule it for next Sat.Not forgetting our Gu Gang Tang massage …and i just realised i have not been to one for 3 weeks. I was aching all the way…and the masseur was commenting could be the lack of proper rest ..but number 26 is really good. I feel so good after the massage. Hope my baby have a good day too. Didn;t see you online , anyway, have a good night, we’ve been chatting for non stop for days. Sure in need of a good rest.Love you and God bless you my dear.

2nd card is sent on 7 June, while the first was on 8 June?

Poor dear … too weak and faint from the horrible experience in polluted Nanjing … that she lost track of night and day … 

back to being happy … i like to reassure you that i am happy, just frustrated and hence got so much lao sao to tell you … must than you for being so patient … lucky got selective listening so not sooo painful , right?

10 Cents

1st one cent:

The special care taken to choose a book which I know will give strength to my sister who is embarking on her first venture out of Singapore to UK when I can’t be there to send her off.

 

2nd one cent:

The many traveling hours to buy Tai Li biscuits which I will never do it on my own if I am in Singapore.

 

3rd one cent:

 The thoughtfulness to buy Old Town coffee and Milo before your trip to Shanghai so I get comfort drinks from home before the start of work almost everyday.

 

4th one cent:

The effort to carry Loreal Day & Night white perfect cream.

 

5th one cent:

The excellent planning and influencing skills ( the door guard) to celebrate my 25th birthday with Venue Clique champagne and the Ichido birthday cake at my uncle’s place.

 

6th one cent:

 The satisfied gf who leave her videos editing to a professional and conscientious bf who sacrificed many hours during CNY 2008 in his grandparent’s place to do her work.

 

7th one cent:

The in-flight entertainment, music, software and i-photos CDs you compiled for me so I get something different each time I meet you.

 

8th one cent:

The many complex procedures to transfer our website to another site so I can view them from China.

 

9th one cent:

The thousand layers of kuey lapis and chocolate chips.

 

10th one cent:

The once a week postages to send the messages of the heart across the oceans to me.

The Singapore Flyer Coincidence

What a coincidence!

We were just talking about the Singapore Flyer the previous night and how I do not do much touristy things in Singapore.

This evening, we had a Qais Mystery Event. It was a secret event and I found out about what it is – The Singapore Flyer. Our company had booked the entire Cabin on the Flyer and we had 45 mins in the world, to enjoy the SingaporeScape to ourselves.

It was Fun. (I will want to go with you when we have the opportunity to be both back in Singapore!)

After the flyer, and (very fatty and unhealthy) dinner at Popeyes, some of us went to Kenko Fish Spa and Reflexology.

Fish Spa. (You probably heard of it, or tried it … where you did your foot into a pool with loads of fish and the fish begins to nibble at you, “cleaning” (i.e. EATING) away your dead skin. It was very ticklish! I took almost 5 mins before I could calm myself and really “enjoy” the process. It was great experience!

30 minutes blog summary

 Hi dear,

My flight from HKG to PVG was delayed for 30 minutes. Great, that gives me 30 minutes to see what you have written in our blog and to grab this opportunity to write.( Me and my negative to positive trait in play again)

I am happy that we are both still as happy with this relationship. I cannot deny i do have questions on and off about us at times, i just can’t keep them @ bay! esp on how much longer i want this relationship to stay in this way. I value the quality time but i would prefer to have you by my side too. However, spending time for the past 4 days you always makes up for the time away. I am happy to know when you share with me you want me to include you in my future plans.

I hope it will not be too long before i have a chance to “EAT” , with the love food list you have written in this blog. I reaslied you don’t express a lot to me  verbally when you see me, but the postcards do make up for it as i mentioned. In a way, good that this 6 sense thing is still working on me, in a way i always read your postcards twice , or when i feel i miss you, i just take all the cards out and read. Dunno why i can feel why you write a certain statement.

I wish you all the best in your work, your trip to Thailand , more importantly what has to come in September. All i will do is support you from Shanghai.

Enjoy work with your colleagues and the doughnuts…

  2. Senso Ristorante & Bar – Club Street – For the classy ambience and the delicious Italian food.
  3. Da Paolo II Restorante – Club Street – For the lovely setting and the Squid Ink Pasta.
  4. Cafe Melvados – Bukit Timah – For big chunky brownies
  5. JCo Donuts – Raffles City – For Indonesia’s and Singapore’s most famous donuts, which some say is even better than Krispy Kremes.
  6. Hanabi Japanese Restaurant – Bukit Timah – For one of Singapore’s most popular Japanese Dining place.
  7. Golden Egg Wrap Carrot Cake – Central@Clarke Quay – For highly recommended, and unique Carrot Cake.
  8. The French Stall – Serangoon Road – For delicious French food in a Kopitiam setting.
  9. Burnt Bee Hoon – Opp. Sim Lim Tower – For unique hawker food that is both delicious and unforgettable.
