It is a dam to create a reservoir for fresh water at the Marina Bay area for drinking water and water sports.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Fionna@Marina Barrage\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/18752420@N00\/3243633343\/\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/static.flickr.com\/3343\/3243633343_48861bf8f2_d.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After roaming around in West Mall, I had kaya toast &#038; half boiled egg with my bb, then we brought a box of Yu Sheng back to bb&#8217;s place to toss prosperity yu sheng.<\/p>\n<p>We also went to the HEARTland Mall &#8211; Jurong Point, which has lots and lots of stuff &#8230; met with bb&#8217;s old JC mates &#8230; and had &#8220;towering&#8221; onion rings.<\/p>\n<p>Later we cross-country to Hougang to visit my dad and sit in $10,000 massage chair.<\/p>\n<p>TQ bb for being with me all the time. =)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We ended our day at the 7th Storey Restaurant at the Marina Barrage &#8211; the latest addition to Singapore&#8217;s infrastructure.
