Jazz @ CJW was different tonight. My first experience of\u00c2\u00a0a Chinese song sang by\u00c2\u00a0Sandra Kyles ( my favourite\u00c2\u00a0black jazz singer\u00c2\u00a0in CJW ), and i know this will only happen in no where else but Shanghai.<\/p>\n
I realised:<\/p>\n
1.Songs by Teresa Teng are timeless.They do not age with time.Sung in different genres , still brings back the same old\u00c2\u00a0feeling- love…<\/p>\n
2.\u00c2\u00a0They bring people of different generations together. (\u00c2\u00a0 50s, 40s, 30s, 20s )<\/p>\n
3. Chinese songs sounded even better than English songs when sung in the jazz. They accentuate the “feeling or experience” of the lyrics.<\/p>\n
Was\u00c2\u00a0out at house of Blues and Jazz..i’ve only\u00c2\u00a0been there\u00c2\u00a0once…however jazz was bad…too noisy and the music was to loud…Jazz for the deaf…as stated by my friend so i suggested to change to CJW…a change that brings me a post here on our blog…<\/p>\n
Good nite my sleepy head…miss u and just received your wonderful postcard..a card that is\u00c2\u00a0just like a Chinese classic song……constant…that does not change with time …on your well wishes for me….so u have to keep writing to me…………….<\/p>\n
